about

"Vague Borders" is the first EP by Brooklyn based electronic music producer Daniel Bellury under the moniker Common Future. Inspired by the work of visual artist Cai Guo-Qiang, the title was taken from his piece "The Vague Border at the Edge of Time/Space Project." Like Qiang's work, "Vague Borders" is messy and dirty and at times explosive. Recorded in the winter of 2011/12, the EP tells a story of adjustment, discomfort and ultimately, reconciliation.
